Looking for a healthier alternative to traditional waffles? How about double chocolate protein waffles?

Now, keep in mind that these are a healthier alternative to eating regular waffles. That doesn't necessarily mean they are going to be the best thing to eat all the time for helping you reach your health and fitness goals. I also know that completely depriving yourself of something forever is not a good long-term solution. So this recipe gives you a great way to occasionally indulge in some delicious double chocolate waffles, while also getting in more protein than a typical waffle contains.

  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup High-protein Waffle Mix
  • 1 scoop PRO® CLASSIC COCOA
  • 1 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar-free Chocolate Chips


  1. Turn on waffle maker/mini waffle maker.
  2. Add all ingredients (besides the toppings) to a medium bowl and mix together. Add in water slowly while stirring. The batter should match the consistency of normal waffle batter.
  3. Spray waffle maker with cooking spray.
  4. Spoon batter onto the waffle maker surface. Close lid and let cook until golden brown and crisp, about 2-5 minutes depending on your waffle iron.
  5. Use a fork to pick up your waffle. Add it to a plate and add your toppings of choice like bananas, honey, sugar-free syrup, or whipped cream
